Actor Jason Mitchell seems to be getting back on his feet. He had some recent troubles in his life lately. One issue was being fired from Showtime's The Chi, where he played Brandon. He got the boot from the show after his co-star complained about sexual harassment from the actor, before she left the show. But then months ago, he was arrested in a car he claimed wasn't his, that had drugs inside. It was a weird story. But he isn't letting those troubles hold him down. According to TMZ, Jason will portray Sean Bell in the film called "50 Shots." Sean Bell was a young black man who was shot by cops just hours before his wedding. Cops fired 50 shots at Bell back in 2006, killing Bell and injuring his two friends after a night of hanging at a strip club that was supposedly being investigated. The film has been in the works for the past 3 years and the family is ready to put the story out there and have been involved with the film. This comes right in time with all of the recent protests.
