The PUA program (Pennsylvania Unemployment Assistant) is a federal funded stimulus, administered by the state.
PUA has had some hiccups during the pandemic dispersing the payments. According to phillyvoice.com, over $44 Million dollars of stolen identities have been found.
PUA has implemented a two type of identification verification to help the process, however they are cracking down on all fraudulent claims made.
