Beyonce and Jay-Z Get Sued For Copyright Infringement For Song Vocals

You haven't made it big until someone sues you and says you stole their music or some part of it. Jay-Z and Beyonce have definitely made it, ten times over. But the couple is facing a lawsuit for their song "Black Effect. TMZ reports a Jamaican artist, Dr. L'Antoinette Stines was sought out by Jay and Bey to initially provided some dancers for a video, but then Jay wanted to use her views on love. Stines claims she was told the interview would be used in the video for promotional purposes. There was a contract for her work but she thought it would only be used for promotions. But to her surprise, she heard her voice on the song on the album and she is suing them for copyright infringement because Stines said she wasn't paid properly nor given proper credit. She wants writing credit and of course money that comes along with that.
