- The investigation into who killed Pop Smoke isn’t coming up with any leads and with the Coronavirus pandemic in full swing, the LAPD’s resources have been limited.
- According to TMZ,The LAPD has shifted most of its resources to deal with COVID-19 efforts and has only conducted face-to-face interviews to no avail.
- As of now, there have been no suspects named in the death of Pop Smoke and few people are willing to talk to police.
- Capt. Jonathan L. Tippet, the head of LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division told the New York Times that his death might have been a targeted hit.
