Philly Police Removed Man From Bus For Not Wearing a Mask

Over the weekend I saw a disturbing video. There was a man being physically removed from a SEPTA bus by several police. Now while SEPTA is trying to get the social distancing going smooth on their buses, apparently there was an urge for passengers to wear face masks to lessen the spread of COVID-19. However, according to a video that went viral, that particular passenger didn't have on a mask. According to Hip Hop Wired, after the video went viral PPD said the passenger was snatched up due to his behavior. Apparently the SEPTA driver asked the passenger to get off the bus several times and the passenger refused. That's when the police were called and that's when things got physical. The passenger didn't get arrested and didn't get a ticket in the end. Although there was no confirmed information that the passenger was kicked off the bus for not wearing a mask, SEPTA has updated its policy, urging passengers to wear a face mask. Even when I looked at their site on Friday, the site did ask all riders to wear masks or facial coverings. Check out SEPTA site here.
