Chicago Pastor Steals $1 Million From Church Funds to Buy a New Bentley

A Chicago-based pastor is accused of stealing nearly $1 million from his church's food program. Instead of providing food to the needy he would inflate the number of meals he served to charge the city and state thousands of dollars.He falsified reports to the sponsor to continue receiving funding.He deposited the checks into the church's bank account and then withdrew money via debit cards or checks on purchases.One of those purchases was a $142,000 2015 Bentley. He has been indicted but not yet apprehended.
