Warriors' Part-Owner Banned from NBA Games for A Year For Shoving Player

A while back, it was mentioned how fans are too comfortable sitting court side at basketball games. Some fans have gotten too comfortable trying to touch players. Remember the one kid who touched Russell Westbrook and Russell spoke firmly to the kid's parent? Well this time, during the NBA finals, people are still feeling comfortable. During the Warriors and Raptors game, Kyle Lowry crashed into the stands while trying to save the ball. When he crashed into a few people, he was shoved by a Warriors fan, who turned out to be a minority investor of the Golden State Warriors, according to Hip Hop Wired. Now I don't give a damn who you are and what you own, but there is no reason for you to place your hands on anyone in this situation. Well, that shove has gotten Mark Stevens, the man who shoved Lowry, a 1-year ban and he was fined $500,000 for shoving Lowry, according to TMZ. The Warriors issued a letter that says Stevens cannot attend anymore 2019 NBA finals games. But is that enough, especially knowing he has a stake in the team and should know better?
