Dave East surrendered to police early Tuesday morning (Oct. 2) and has been charged with misdemeanor assault. According to reports, The Harlem MC is accused of punching 28-year-old Joel Rosario in the face near Pier 40 in July near the Hudson River Park marina. Both men were leaving a party cruise. The victim suffered a laceration above his left eye. Rosario claims the attack was unprovoked and he had no prior altercation with East on the cruise. East will appear in court at a later date. Dave East and Styles P are scheduled to release a joint project titled Beloved on Friday (Oct. 5).
