Oscar nominee and Grammy winner Mary J. Blige will join the third season of MTV's Scream. Scream’s third season will center around high school football star Deion Elliot, played by RJ Cyler. Blige will play Sherry Elliot, the mother of Deion, whose tragic past comes back to haunt him. The cast also includes Keke Palmer, Tyga, Giorgia Whigham, Tyler Posey, Jessica Sula, Giullian Yao Gioiello, and the son of late rapper Biggie Smalls and Faith Evans C.J. Wallace. The show is produced by Queen Latifah’s Flavor Unit Entertainment.
