Appeals Court Tells Deadbeat Dad He Can't Have Kids Anymore

Last year Asim Taylor a 35 year old father of four was court ordered to not have any more children. A judge in Ohio, James Waiter, was tired of Taylor avoiding the more than $100,000 in back child support. He said that Taylor was banned from having any more kids until he could prove that he was financially stable enough to afford the kids that he already has. He was put on probation and the judge said, “I put this condition on for one reason and one reason alone, It’s your personal responsibility to pay for these kids.” Taylor tried to appeal this case saying that he does support his kids “just not through child support.”  But nope sorry – an appeals court judge said he agrees with the decision and the man can’t have anymore kids. If he does have kids he can go to jail for 1 year for violating his probation.

Disrespectful Sign?

White students at a Georgia high school thought it would be a good idea to celebrate their graduation with “N*gga We Made It” signs. According to reports, the message was written on banners and on windows. The school released this note to parents calling the sign derogatory and said the signage was removed.  The court also said the students would be punished. Below is the exact letter,

“South Forsyth High School Parents: This morning, without our knowledge, students placed a derogatory sign with a verse from a song by Drake on our school as a senior prank. We removed it as soon as it was brought to our attention and deeply apologize for their behavior. This is unacceptable and I promise you that the students will receive the appropriate consequences for their actions.” No word on what that “appropriate consequence” will be.

One of the officers has been placed on administrative duty. The police department issued this statement: We are investigating the circumstances surrounding this situation and have placed one of the officers on administrative duty. NFL Trying To Make Marijuana Testing More Lenient

A potential new policy that could be implemented next season would make marijuana testing more lenient for players. Sources say the league realizes the benefit of injured players using the substance to relieve pain.

A source tells ESPN that the new regulations will reduce the punishments for violations. However, the ESPN report points out that these changes wouldn't help players who have already violated the policy. The source calls the current marijuana policies “outdated” and the players association wants to look at medical research that has been used to legalize marijuana in several states. The ultimate decision will lay with the NFL commissioner.
