According to CBS Sports, Dante Cunningham,26, from the Minnesota Timberwolves was arrested for domestic assault on a female.

Police were called to a home on Medina Road around 4 a.m early this morning from a woman claiming the NBA player attacked her at her home and then left the scene. Once he returned officers arrested him and was sent to the Hennepin County Jail. Cunningham was held without bail and charges have not been filed yet. The woman involved did not require medical treatment. Moreover, the Wolves’ organization issued a statement stating,

“We are aware of the matter involving Dante Cunningham and are in the process of gathering more information. Dante will not be traveling with the team to Miami this afternoon. The Minnesota Timberwolves organization takes the matter very seriously and does not condone the type of behavior that is associated with this situation. However, we need to let the legal process run its course, and will have further comment at the appropriate time.”
