According to New York Daily News, Michael Jordan’s “Flu Game” sneakers were auctioned off for $104,765 this morning.

Preston Truman from Utah is the person who scored the Jordan’s set the record for the highest paid pair of game – used Jordan’s. The previous pair was his rookie season that sold for $31, 070.

For those who are unfamiliar with the former basketball star’s history, the autographed shoes that were auctioned off were the shoes Jordan wore when the Chicago Bulls made a comeback in the 1997 finals against the Utah Jazz. Even though MJ was sick he took the Bulls to the Championship when he scored 38 points with 7 rebounds and 5 assists in game 5, making it the most famous game in NBA history.
