50 Cent has officially left Interscope Records, the label that helped launch him into superstardom. Since his last album, Before I Self Destruct, 50 and Interscope have not seen eye to eye on a lot of the aspects concerning his next album, Animal Ambition. 50 has signed a worldwide distribution deal with Caroline/Capitol/UMG and will release his next album on June 3rd. By leaving Interscope, 50 will also be leaving long-time friend Eminem and Shady Records. In a statement, Eminem had this to say about 50, "Shady simply would not be what it is without 50 Cent. I've developed a great friendship with 50 over the years, and that's not going to change."
