The song in question is off his last album Nothing Was The Same “Pound Cake/Paris Morton Music 2 featuring Jay Z. The song begins with a 35 second monologue from a 1982 song “Jimmy Smith Rap” by jazz musician Jimmy Smith.
According to TMZ, the estate of Smith, who has passed, is looking for more than $300K from Drake and Cash Money Records. The suit claims Drake stole the lyrics and lyed about having permission to use on his album. Whether he wins or looses this case, I think Drizzy and Cash Money will be okay financially.
