Of course we like to switch up our workouts to make sure we are working the entire body. And this round, I had Trainer Dee share some workout tips. I challenge you to get up and give it a try. It's the Hustle Challenge

Working out doesn't mean you have to eat bland food. I like flavor so I get extremely happy when I do blackened salmon with mango salsa. This is for the ones who like some spice!

What you will need:

4-6 ounces of salmon

Blackened seasoning:

1 1/2 tablespoons of paprika

1 tablespoon of garlic powder

1 tablespoon of onion powder

1 tablespoon of ground dried thyme

1 teaspoon of black pepper

1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper

1 teaspoon of dried basil

1 teaspoon of dried oregano

Combine all seasoning together and coat the salmon on both sides with. You will have more seasoning then needed so feel free to store the rest for the next time. After you coat the salmon, set aside.

Mango Salsa:

1 mango

1 jalapeno

1 onion

few twigs of cilantro

1 red and green bell pepper

half lemon and half lime

pinch of salt

Dice the mango into tiny cubes as well as the onion, jalapeno and bell peppers. Combine into a bowl and squeeze the half lemon and lime into mixture. Chop up cilantro and add as well. Sprinkle the sea salt and mix well and place into the refrigerator to chill.

Heat a skillet (or iron skillet), but it's best to open some windows. Place a little olive oil in the pan and let it get hot then add the salmon. Cook on each side for at least 3-4 min to make sure the inside is done. The salmon will get a little charred on the outside. When it's done, prepare your plate then add the salsa on top.
