Donald Sterling has caused a lot of drama over his alleged racists remarks. His words are so hurtful that the team had a silent protest during their Sunday's game by wearing their warm up shirts on the other side. And in solidarity for the Clippers, the Miami Heat did the same thing during their play-off game last night. But now, Donald Sterling is costing the team because sponsors are dropping left and right. According to the Huffington Post, CarMax, Mercedes-Benz and others have decided to cease their sponsorships with the team. On top of that, Corona, State Farm insurance, Sprint, Kia and others are reportedly suspending their sponsorships as well. Even Samsung has decided to suspend their commercials on late Monday. Yep, Mr. Sterling is probably realizing his words are a bit hard to swallow since causing all of this drama.
