I am a Spike Lee fan and when I first saw his 1998 movie, "School Daze," I fell in love with the idea of an HBCU. I attended one and though it wasn't quite like the movie, the movie gave me a little insight on what to expect. But it seems like Spike Lee wants to continue that insight for the up and coming generation because he confirmed there will be a sequel, according to BlackAmericaWeb. He said it would be a more contemporary version, just 25 years later. But it sounds like he doesn't have the cast down just yet, because he is hoping to get Laurence Fishbourne to revive his character but play it as the president of the school, Mission College. This would be interesting and the new cast would be interesting as well. I'd see it though!
