So social media is going crazy with the memes and posts celebrating Lil Boosie's release from prison. Well some people are wondering what the big deal is, I mean, is Boosie really that relevant? Actor Jason Weaver (you may remember him from the sitcom Smart Guy or the movie ATL) is speaking out against all of the hype. Weaver took to his Instagram to say that while he has nothing against Lil Boosie and means no disrespect, he doesn't think that we should be praising someone for getting out of jail. Weaver goes on to say that instead of glorifying young black men for getting out of prison we should be praising them for graduating from high school and college. The actor says, "I'm about celebrating milestones in black men's lives that we can REALLY be proud of." I feel him on that!
