Let's face it, the New York Knicks have been struggling lately. But hopefully things won't be like that for the next season because Derek Fisher has been tapped and agreed to coach the team with a new deal. He's expected to signed on to a 5-year, $25 million deal and he will pretty much be managed by his old coach, Phil Jackson, according to USA Today. Phil coached Derek while he played for the Lakers. So clearly, this decision is sounding pretty good. And think about it, that's not too bad when Derek is about to retire after this season with Oklahoma City Thunder. To pick up a coaching deal right away? Yeah, I would take it!
