Whitmore II directed film had the 7th highest PSA out of the top 20, which is impressive – especially since it did not have a big studio budget. Based on the Terri Woods best selling novel, True to the Game is the love story of Quadir Richards, a charismatic drug lord, and Gena Rollins, a young girl from the projects of Philly.
