Jay-Z recently received the honor of being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Of course, Jay didn't get to where he is without certain people in his life. One of those people include Dame Dash. Back in the day on Rock-a-fella, they were the duo! However, friendships and relationships fizzle. So many years later, they may have let that hate go. During Jay's speech, he did give credit to Dame. Jay said, "I know we don’t see eye-to-eye, but I can never erase your accomplishments. And I appreciate you and I thank you for that.” According to Page Six, Dame appreciated that shout out. He said, “It was beautiful,” and continued to say, “I’m glad he said it for the culture. We need to squash everything. So hopefully if that was an extended [olive branch] I’ll spin one back.” Let's hope Jay and Dame can have a seat at the table and not that Red Table Talk, either. Dame also said he has no beef with Jay and Jay has no beef with him.
