PBS Cancels "Arthur" After 25 Years

A long-standing animated show for kids is getting canceled. Some of you grew up on the PBS show, "Arthur." It is the longest, running kids' show but it's about to come to an end in 2022. TMZ reports the show will end next year with the 25th and final season debuting, said Carol Greenwald, who is the executive producer. If you're not familiar with the show, you are definitely familiar with some of the characters' memes, for instance, Arthur's clinched fist. Remember when John Legend dressed as the character and did the clinched fist thing, as well? The show was based on Marc Brown's "Arthur Adventure" book series and dealt with plenty of social issues between family and friends. And it was an award winning show as well, winning 4 Emmys.
