Kyrie Irving Slams Nike Over New Shoe and Calls it Trash

We're not sure if this will get Kyrie Irving booted or have a shoe recall, but he is blasting Nike for the upcoming Nike Kyrie 8 sneaker. So apparently, the show was leaked on social media and Kyrie quickly responded that he had nothing to do with the design. According to Hip Hop Wired, Nike is supposed to release the Nike Kyrie 8 a little bit before the NBA season, but the Nets point guard wasn't impressed with the shoe. When the look of the kicks was leaked, Kyrie chimed in and said, "I have nothing to do with the design or marketing of the upcoming Kyrie 8, IMO these are trash!" He said he had absolutely nothing to do with them and that "Nike plans to release it without my okay regardless of what I say, so I apologize in advance to all of my sneaker heads and true supporters of the KAI11 brand." Yikes. We highly doubt Nike will scrap the shoe, but that's also not a good look for a relationship where they expect him to wear a shoe when he thinks it's trash.
