Deion Sanders Walks Out of Press Conference Over His Name and Respect

Baby, don't play with Deion Sanders. The football coach for Jackson State University wants you to put some respect on his name. While his name is widely known because of his fame in the NFL, he has a title as Coach Sanders at the HBCU and he wants you to call him just that. During a press conference on Tuesday with Clarion Ledger reporter Nick Suss, Suss called the coach by his first name. That didn't sit well with Coach Sanders. In fact, Sanders quickly stopped him and said, “You don’t call Nick Saban, ‘Nick.’ Don’t call me Deion. If you call Nick, Nick, you’ll get cussed out on the spot, so don’t do that to me. Treat me like Nick.” But the reporter tried to be funny and referred to Coach Sanders for the second time when Suss replied, "Ok, Deion." That's when you see Coach Sanders get up and leave from the conference. You heard what that man said. Put respect on it! But, was it too much?
