NJ Man Arrested for Racist Rant and Harassing Neighbors

Edward Cagney Mathews probably didn't realize the words he said until after he said them. The Mt. Laurel, New Jersey man was arrested over the weekend after harassing his neighbors. There was a video that went viral of Mathews harassing his neighbors, to the point another man had to jump in to defend that couple from Mathews. Mathews had been calling them all type of racist names from the N-word to monkeys. He didn't care because he even gave his address out and told people to come see him. Oh, you didn't think they wouldn't? Within hours, there were several people outside of his home protesting. Word is, this wasn't the first time he had been on his racist rants about some neighbors in his area. Police arrested Mathews and he was charged with harassment and bias intimidation, according to NBC10. Oh, and of course he is blaming his rant on alcohol, saying he should not have been saying those things. Boy, please, you said what you felt because the police department confirmed there were previous complaints about Mathews. But nothing happened to the man until people showed up and showed out to protest Mathews behavior.
