Rejected Intern Claims Converse Stole Her Design for A Shoe

Imagine trying to get with a company and you want to become their intern and submit some of your hard work with your application. You feel like you're about to get the gig, only to be rejected. Fast forward and you look and see your work has been duplicated, or stolen. That's what one up and coming designer claims. According to The New York Post, Cecilia Monge claims that's what happened to her. She presented the company with her design back in 2019 when he applied for an internship. But recently, she hopped on TikTok to explain things and display the resemblance of her design and Converse's current drop. Cecilia had her "National Park" design that featured colorways that you’d find on the colorful leaves on the trees in the park. Converse released their Unisex Converse Chuck 70 National Parks High Top in Red Bark and Cecilia they stole her idea. And that's just one shoe, because she apparently had another design that just so happens to look like another shoe Converse recently released. The shoes aren't on the US website, but can be purchased in Australia. Converse denies stealing her design.
