Swizz Beatz and Timbaland have already hit us with a lineup for the upcoming Verzuz battles. Do we even call them battles, when it's just good, classic music? Well the team have already given up the lineup for the next few weekends. However, I keep telling myself a dope lineup would be Dr. Dre versus Pharrell Williams. I don't think that will happen, but it sounds good. Well, Swizz actually revealed Dr. Dre backed out of Verzuz after he heard how bad the sound was during the Teddy Riley Verzuz Babyface. Look, we all remember how bad that was. Swizz told the Breakfast Club that once Dre heard the sound quality, he was like nope. Swizz said, "When Dr. Dre wasn’t feeling the sound from Teddy Riley and Babyface, that hurt our heart. Oh my God. He was supposed to come at the end and announce that he was gon’ do VERZUZ that night… He got on the phone, he was like ‘man, I can’t be a part of nothing that sound like that, my legacy is quality’. I was like ‘oh, we just lost Dre’… that one felt pretty crazy." Oh, we get it. Do you think Dre will have a change of heart now that Verzuz has grown and has gone through a few changes?
