Trump Makes U.S. History as First President to Be Impeached Twice

After the Capitol Hill riots went down, some Republicans were tired of Trump's antics. Trump has been impeached again. This, by the way is President Trump's second time being impeached in 1 year. This is the first time in history any President has been impeached twice. Of course, he is being impeached for inciting the riots that took place January 6 at Capitol Hill. There were about 10 Republicans to impeach President Trump and basically every Democrat. As far as why other Republicans didn't vote to move forward with the impeachment, they think impeachment is divisive and could cause even more violence with new threats. His fate is now in the hands of the Senate. According to TMZ, the Senate will have to take the matter up among themselves by voting to convict, or acquit. So what will the impeachment do for him? If Trump is impeached and convicted by the Senate, not only would the President be removed, but he couldn't run for federal office again. Oh, and what's crazy is that he did a video message from the Oval office, saying he doesn't condone violence, just hours after word came in about his impeachment. Trump said, "I unequivocally condemn the violence that we saw last week. Violence and vandalism have absolutely no place in our country and no place in our movement." Shouldn't ha have said those things last week? But this is crazy, because he also said, "No true supporter of mine could ever endorse political violence. No true supporter of mine could ever disrespect law enforcement or our great American flag." But didn't he condone violence when he ran for President, telling his supporters to punch others and he'd bail them out?
