Newcomer, Mulatto, may be thinking about changing her name soon. Last week, people were going on in the rapper about her name and race. Fans and others were dragging her for saying she identifies as Black but in the past she said she didn't like to call herself Black or White and prefers to use her stage name, Mulatto. But of course, she is biracial. Now if you know history, then you know the name was offensive back in the day. But it seems as if the rapper may be changing things up. According to HipHopDX, Mulatto hinted at a name change to possibly be Big Latto. Mulatto said, "I can’t say too much because we’re working on something right now, but I would be lying to say it hasn’t crossed my mind before," She continued, "It is a controversy that I hear and see every day as far as my name goes, so I would be lying to say no I never thought of that. But I can’t say too much because right now, because it’s going to be a part of something bigger." We will see what she does in due time.
