Feds Charge Lil Wayne For Possession of Firearm and Ammo

Lil Wayne is in big trouble and it could cost him 10 years behind bars. TMZ reports he was hit with a federal weapons charge. The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida has charged Wayne with 1 count of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon. The charge is actually from December 2019 when the feds searched his plane in Miami, where Wayne was a passenger on the plane that made a stop in Florida before heading to California. Wayne was cleared to leave even though the weapons were found on the plane. But things have changed because feds believe the gold-plated handgun in Weezy's luggage shouldn't have been there because Wayne is a felon. He was convicted of a felony gun charge back in 2009. He will be back in court next month but he faces up to 10 years in prison if he is convicted. So do you think his buddy, the President will help bail him out?
