Chadwick Boseman Will Not Be Digitized for Black Panther Sequel

Many people still feel a way about Chadwick Boseman's death. He was everyone's first Black superhero on the big screen. But of course before he died, there was a sequel already in place for the movie, Black Panther. So will the show still go on? And what's going to happen with Chadwick's character, T'Challa? Will he be a digital image, because that's the word on the streets. According to Deadline, Black Panther executive producer Victoria Alonso says the sequel will not use a digital double for Chadwick. She said, "No. There’s only one Chadwick, and he’s no longer with us. Sadly, our king has died in real life, not only in fiction, and we’re taking a little time to see how we continue the story and how to honor this chapter of what has unexpectedly happened to us, so painful and terrible to be honest." Alonso continued, "Chadwick wasn’t only a wonderful human being, every day of the 5 years we spent together, but also, I believe, that what he did as a character elevated us as a company, and has left his moment on history." Ryan Coogler will return as the director and writer for the sequel, which, will begin production in 2021.
