Philly's own Bryshere Gray, aka, Yazz who starred as Hakeem in Fox's Empire is going through some things. He has been arrested for beating his wife. Not many even knew the actor was married, although there were rumors about it about a month ago. According to TMZ, it all went down in Arizona. Police responded to a call to help a woman on Sunday night at a Circle K. Polices say the woman flagged down someone for help and claimed her husband, Bryshere, has been assaulting her for hours at their home, even strangling her. You would think this was taken from a movie scene because she had visible injuries but when the cops tried to confront Bryshere at his home, he refused to leave. Bryshere barricaded himself inside and a SWAT team had a whole damn standoff to get him to come out. It last for hours. Bryshere's wife has since been sent to the hospital to treat her injuries, however, Bryshere was arrested and booked on 3 charges, felony aggravated assault, misdemeanor assault and misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
