Jay-Z and Meek Mill Are Donating Masks to Prisons

Not everyone in jail should be there and no one speaks up for them. However, we all know that Meek Mill and Jay-Z started the Reform Alliance to help the voiceless out. While they may not be able to help those prisoners out legally, they are still trying to do what they can, when no one else will care. When the COVID-19 pandemic spread, the virus ran rampant throughout some prisons. According to CBS News Jay-Z and Meek Mill teamed with Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to donate 10 million surgical masks to prisons and jails across America to help inmates and guards protect themselves and each other from continuing to spread the virus. Throughout the pandemic, Dorsey has donated a lot of money to help where he can. Dorsey said, "The criminal justice system needs to change. COVID-19 adds to the injustices, and REFORM is best suited to help."
