Nike to Donate Shoes to Healthcare Workers

How dope is this? A lot of doctors and nurses are out here helping people fight the coronavirus. Some of these healthcare workers can't even go home to their own families. They are constantly on their feet, holding in their emotions, but helping. Well Nike is about to help them out. Nike pledges to donate more than 140,000 pieces of footwear that will include shoes and socks to healthcare workers on the frontline of trying to stop the spread of COVID -19. Nike made the announcement on Tuesday. On their news site, Nike said they will partner with a nonprofit, Good360 in the U.S. and even organizations across Europe to make the donations of footwear, apparel and equipment. The statement says, "From one athlete to another, Nike athletes recognize the physical and mental resilience of healthcare athletes." Nike is donating 32,500 pairs of their Air Zoom Pulse that is designed for the "everyday" hero.
