Sesame Street Will Explain COVID-19 to Kids on Saturday Special

We have been saying the words coronavirus and COVID-19 for over a month now. The adults get it and we know how bad this virus has been. But what about the kids? Do you have kids who are asking questions all the time and you don't know how to explain it. Then you have the television and the news. Sometimes kids don't understand what they are watching on the news in regards to this odd new normal. Well, there is a gang that is willing to help. Sesame Street has teamed with CNN journalists to help break down the meaning to kids. According to CNN, Sanjay Gupta and Erica Hill as well as the characters from Sesame Street like Big Bird will moderate "The ABC’s of Covid 19: A CNN/Sesame Street Town Hall for Kids and Parents." They will help explain the effects the pandemic is having on kids’ lives. The special will air on Saturday at 9am, but parents can actually submit questions for the town hall special that will address education, anxiety, screen time, play dates and more topics. Parents can submit their written questions to CNN's website and make sure you include your name and contact info and get the kids ready for Saturday morning.
