Tekashi Has His Houston Case Dismissed

It looks like Tekashi 6ix9ine has one less case to worry about because it has been dismissed. In 2018, Tekashi found himself in trouble after choking a teen who was trying to film the rapper in the mall in Houston. According to TMZ, the State of Texas requested to have the assault charges dismissed. So there are actually a few reasons for this. The alleged victim, Santiago Albarran requested the case be dismissed. On top of that, prosecutors say moving Tekashi to Texas is a "security risk" now that he's cooperated with the feds in NYC. Of course he is currently in jail on racketeering charges but has been singing like a bird, dropping people's name and Texas isn't willing to take that risk of something bad going down in their state with the rapper, for instance, some form of retaliation.
